Random fact for the day:

About 2 years ago my family and I lived on a farm. We had about 20 acres and we had horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and a donkey. ;) They were all mostly for enjoyment. :) The chickens were mine. I love chickens!! I think they are so adorable! I had laying hens, so I sold my eggs. :) (except for the ones we used!) The goats were Emma's. She loves goats. :) We had 5 goats to start with, and then I think we eventually had eleven! :) They were so much fun, and the babies were absolutely adorable! We had a lot of sheep....around thirty-five. Lambing season was so much fun! :P ;) We had a couple babies that had to be fed by a bottle. :) Oh, for awhile we had kittens! :) That was fun! :) We also had a creek, and that was lots of fun to walk through and explore in. :)
So, now we live in the city, in a neighborhood...:) I wish we still lived there, I miss it. :)

That's my dream home. :) A farm with lots of animals, trees, and land. With a cute little cottage along with lots and lots of flowers, lots of fruit trees, and a vegetable garden!
What's yours?

Well there is a random fact. :D

Only 33 days

Today we were working on making corsages for Grant and Hannah's wedding. (Corsages-for the Mother's and Grandmother's of the Bride and Groom and for the servers.) Her theme is peacock feathers. She is doing turquoise, black, and white.
Emma, Laura and I are bridesmaids along with two of Hannah's friends. :) Our dresses are really pretty. :) They are around  knee length, and are a dark turquoise color. They have a diamond shape on the front made of sequins! :) Maybe I will post a picture. :)

Hannah made the ring bearer pillow and the flower girl basket, and they turned out really pretty! :)

This is one of the corsages. It isn't completely done yet. Some ribbon will still be added to it, but that is basically what it will look like. :)

I had fun photographing the feathers.....:P

Only 33 more days and it seems like there is still a lot to do!

Beautiful things p H o T o G r A p H y

As you might have seen, I changed my blog's name to 'Beautiful things photography'. I have been trying to think of a name for my blog and photography for a while now but I just couldn't think of anything that I really liked. I went by 'Eliza's Corner', but it wasn't very 'original' :) and it just wasn't exactly what I wanted. :)
So, I was trying to think of a good name. I thought about my main purpose and desire for photography. So, I decided on 'beautiful things' because I love to 'capture God's beautiful things'. And also I just love the word beautiful. :) Doesn't it just sound so, beautiful? :) I love it. :) So anyway, I thought of a name and I really like it. :)

Grant and Hannah's engagment photos

Here are a few of Grant and Hannah's engagement photos. :) I DID NOT take or edit (except for the text) these. ;) Cassie, a friend of Hannah's did. ;)

So, I put my "beautiul things photography blog" on there just saying it belongs to me, but Cassie took the photos. ;)

So now there is only about....5 1/2 weeks until their wedding! :)
I'm really excited! Hannah's friend who is helping plan the wedding is coming over tonight and their going to work on some things. :)

Photos, photos, and...more photos. :)

I really need to catch up on my posting. :)
So, here are some from when Jewel and her family came. They came about two weeks ago. Jewel and Laura, and Emma and Jewel's older sister Jaclyn, have been writing/e-mailing/texting for 5 years, I think, and Jewel and I have been e-mailing/texting a little for a little while. :) Jaclyn and Emma are the same age, and so are Laura and Jewel. They live many states away and this was our first time to meet them. :) We had fun. :)

These are just a mix of photos that I have taken within the last week. We went to a nearby old town, and that is what some of them are from. And some are just from around my house. :)
