Cleaning..cleaning...and more cleaning :)

Tomorrow is Emma's graduation. So tomorrow evening Emma's having friends over, and Hannahs having a friend over, and my grandparents are here. So, I did school this morning, cleaned house, we made mini cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, cleaned house some more...and were still cleaning....:)

I'll probably take lots of pictures tomorrow, so I'll be posting in the next couple days, maybe sooner. :)

Our new pet turtle, his name is Boxie

My Grandpa found a turtle! So he brought it to our house! :) His name is Boxie, and he is currently living in the front flower bed. :)

We painted a stripe on his back with nailpolish, that way we'll know it's him if we goes away and then we see him again. :)

We were waiting for him to come out. We gave him some grass and some lettuce. Annie likes him. :)

Then we left for a few minutes. And when we came back he had walked across the yard. :) When he was still inside his shell, laura had put a flower on his back, so then he was walking around with it like that. :)

Red stained, hands, feet, and floor.

The subject?? Kool-aid! :) A few minutes ago I was trying to make a pitcher of red kool-aid. Well, when I tore open the little packet of powder, I spilled about half of it on the floor. Ok, so they I poured the rest into the pictcher of water. :) I thought to myself, "I'll just get that when I'm done." Then I began to realize how much I actually spilt all over the floor. :) It was all sticking to the bottom of my feet. :P So me, not thinking first, ;) I wet a paper towel to wipe my feet with, so then the kool-aid disolved on my feet!! I don't know what I was thinking...:) So now I have red feet, and it won't come off! :) lol!
I'm sorry, I just found that really funny, I thought I'd share it! :) lol
This was sorta a boring post, I'll try to post some pictures later. :)

Alright, so I realized that in "settings" in "basic", at the very bottom, you can change it from "html only" "old editor" or "updated editor". And when I put it on "old editor" the video button (the button you click to post a video) was there, when I put it on the "updated editor" it's not! Why would they take that off for their new and latest thing?

It just thundered again-and now it's pouring

I think it's going to rain

It rained for a couple minutes and then it stopped, but it's cloudy outside, and it smells like rain. :)
I like it when it rains, but not when it rains a whole lot, because we have a low backyard and so when it rains a lot, it gets flooded and puddled and it takes a few days for it to all dry up. :)

So, the computer monitor/screen broke on my Mom's computer a few months ago, so we got our screen and put it on hers and we have all been using her computer. So we got a new screen for our computer today!! Which means I can get on more, and it's just much easier using our computer because it has all my things and bookmarked sites and all. :) Glad to have it back. :)

Oh, it's also supposed to storm today and tonight. Like thunderstorm and tornadoes. I hate storms!! Even just like the sound of the radio station we listen to during a storm to here updates from makes me nervous. :)

Ok, so I just posted, (the one before this one) so I went to my blog to look at it. And, there was a comment button!!! But only on that one post, not on the others. I wonder if there will be one on this post. But, there is still no tv looking video button.....weird.

I don't see a tv/film roll button. To the left of the "insert image" there is the "Link" button, and to the right, the "insert jump break" button. It's not there.
Really, I think my blogger account is just messed up...:) No comment button, and no movie button.....sigh. :)

How many times have we tried this now?

Laura and I are trying to record ourselves singing "Sisters" from "White Christmas", but it's not working too well. Laura won't stop laughing! Well, I have to admit I was having a hard time keeping myself from laughing too, but we start recording and it's going good and then she starts laughing for no reason...:)

We learned "Sisters" around a year ago, and the harmony to it. We were going to sing in a fair, like a competition, but we never have. We just sing it for fun.

So, if we can ever get a recording of us singing it without us stopping in the middle and laughing, I'll post it.

-It could be awhile! :)

Mini Cupcakes

Today my Mom, Laura and I made these little cupakes. Our's didn't turn out quite as cute as they are supposed to, being that this is the first time we have ever made them. But they are fun to make, really cute, and, well, I haven't tried one yet but they certainly look like they will taste good!

     I don't have the exact recipe, I can put it on here if anyone wants it, but here is the basic outline. :)

So we baked a chocolate cake in a normal cake pan, let it cool, mixed it with a can of frosting, and rolled it into balls.

Then we used mini muffin/cupcake molds. We melted candy melts and poured a little into each mold. Then put a cake ball in each.

Then we put them in the refridgerator to harden. The "wrapper" is edible! :)

Then we melted pink candy melts and spreaded it on top. And then we added sprinkles.

The final product! :) Like I said, they didn't turn out as good, but maybe after lots of practice they'll look more like how they're supposed to! :)

Abbie's 9th Birthday

Today is Abbie's 9th birthday. We got her when she was still a puppy. :) She is an amazing dog. She is so sweet. Sometimes we call her "Nana" like from "Peter Pan". That's alot like how she is.
