Only three more days until

Chruch camp!!! Emma and I are leaving on Monday! We get back on Saturday. I can't wait! This is my second year to go! I might be able to post from my cell phone here and there but other then that I won't get on again until saturday. I'm not bringing my camera, because I don't want anything to happen to it, but I might take some pictures with my cell phone. :)

I've been packing, and there is so much to bring!! :)

I drove :)

About a week ago we went to a park in my town, it's a big park and it has golf courses so there is a road that kind of goes in a big circle throughout the park. Anyway, I drove for the first time. It was so much fun!! I got to use the blinkers and I parked the car...:) I can't wait until I can drive. And have my own car and stuff. :) I was really surprised at how much you can coast! You don't have to push the gas as much as I thought. :)
And, it's hard to tell if I'm in my lane or not! I was told that I get too close to the end of the road and that my tires may fall off. :)

Water fun

Laura and I got a "Slip n slide" today and we played with it this afternoon. If you don't know what a slip n slide is, well it's a plastic slide, and there is a pool at one end and a tube on the side. You hook the hose to one end of it and the water goes through the tube. There are holes in the tube so the water comes out and onto the slide. It's really fun, but painful. I'm a little bruised up. :)

Then we had this neat idea, we put the slip n slide at the end of the slide on our swing set with the pool side up against the slide. So, we brought the hose to the back side of the swing set, pulled it through so that the hose was pouring water down the slide. Then we got an inflatable boogie board and sat on it, held on and went for an amazingly fun wild ride!! We had so much fun!!!
I'm sorry I don't have any pictures, because it would be quite a funny sight to see, but we plan on doing it again, so maybe next time. :)

Friends...

Friday, my friend Ashley, and her brother came over and spent the day with us, and then Ashley spent the night. We had alot of fun..we rode bikes, and played charades (a tradition of our's) :) and, um just talked. Oh, and that all included alot of laughing. You can't have us all together without that. :)

Oh, and by the way, I got a haircut, and bangs that go straight across. :)

"The Ultimate Gift"

We watched "The Ultimate Gift" tonight. This was my third time to watch it. It seemed to make a bigger impression on me this time more then the other times. I think the movie gets better everytime you watch it.
This is an amazing movie. If you haven't already seen it, I think you should. But I have to warn you that it's very sad. But it's very good.

Graduation, musuem, and state park

I found some time to post. I still haven't posted the pictures from Emma's graduation yet!

Oh, well the pictures of her actual graduation ceremony and reception are on my Mom's computer. I will post those later. But here are some of her party after we got home. She had a few friends over, and we had pizze and watched a movie. :)

These are some really old women's or girl's boots. :) Wouldn't be so fun to wear those?! The little sign said that the newspaper that was stuffed inside the toes of the shoes was dated 1840!! Isn't that so cool?
